【Photo】
【Explanation】
The SONY T-25CLW is a wet-type video head cleaner cassette designed for use with both VHS and S-VHS VCRs. Featuring a short 25-second cleaning cycle, the product was marketed as a fast and effective maintenance tool for improving image quality. Based on its packaging design, typography, and model numbering, it is estimated to have been released around 1993, during a period when S-VHS was widely promoted and VHS maintenance accessories were commonly sold at retail. The presence of “WET TYPE” and compatibility with S-VHS suggests a focus on mid-to-high-end consumer VCRs. This item reflects the transitional phase of analog home video technology and represents a typical example of 1990s AV maintenance media.
