【Explanation】
This is an 8-track karaoke cartridge produced by Apollon Music Industry, designed for multiplex vocal playback. The selection includes popular enka songs such as “Kantsubaki” (1982), “Ōta Blues,” “Imasara Jirō” (1984), and “Sakaba Suzume” (1982), suggesting the tape’s production around 1983. At that time, Apollon was a major supplier of karaoke content to commercial establishments across Japan. 8-track cartridges were commonly used in early karaoke systems before the widespread adoption of laser discs and CDs. With limited surviving documentation, this item is of notable historical value as a tangible example of analog karaoke media.
