About the donation
寄贈について

Our exhibition space and storage facilities will reach their limits in December 2024. As a result, we will no longer accept "bring-in donations" when visiting the museum. If you would like to "donate," please contact us by filling out the "Inquiry Form" with the media or equipment you would like to "donate."

2024年12月を持ちまして「展示スペース」「収蔵庫」が限界となりました。これにともない来館時の「持ち込み寄贈」は終了させていただきました。「寄贈」をご希望の場合は「お問い合わせフォーム」から「寄贈」したいメディアや機器を記入いただきお問合せください。

2025年8月12日：当館が探しているものリストを公開しました！こちらをお持ちの方は上記のフォームからご連絡いただければ幸いです！

Donation Agreement
寄贈に関する合意事項

We accept donations on the premise that donated equipment will be exhibited statically. Otemachi has a museum shop, but the items sold there are purchased by the museum from recycle shops all over the country. The museum will not resell donated items.

You agree to the following items when making a donation.

□Once donated, the ownership will be transferred to the museum.
□Donated items cannot be returned or lent once donated.
□Since the items are intended for static display, they will not be turned on.
□Due to the limited exhibition space, they will be replaced (they may not be on display).
□The museum may sell catalogs and goods that have been photographed with donated items.
□Donated items may be rented as props for movies, television, etc.
□Caps, straps, accessories, outer boxes, etc. other than the main unit may be sold at the museum shop.
□We will not contact you individually if the museum closes in the future.

寄贈された機器は静態展示することを前提に寄贈をお受けしています。大手町にはミュージアムショップ機能がありますがそこで販売するものは当館が全国各地のリサイクルショップで仕入れたものです。博物館が寄贈品を転売することはありません。

寄贈に関しては以下の項目に同意いただいたものとなります。

□寄贈後の所有権は当館となります
□一度寄贈した寄贈品の返品はできません
□静態展示を前提としているので電源を入れることはありません
□限られた展示スペースなので入れ替えがあります（展示されていないこともあります）
□寄贈品を撮影したカタログやグッズを当館が販売することがあります
□寄贈品を映画やテレビなどの小道具としてレンタルすることがあります
□本体以外のキャップ・ストラップ・付属品・外箱などをミュージアムショップで販売することがあります
□当館が将来閉館する場合も個別にご連絡はいたしません

寄贈の手順

【Step 1 Inquiries：①お問合せ】

Please use the form below to contact us with the manufacturer and model name (product name) of the product you would like to donate. We will respond to you by email within 48 hours to see if we can accept your donation.

【Step 2 Mailing of donations ：②郵送寄贈】

If you are able to donate, please send the equipment cash on delivery to the address below. If you are sending, please send only the main unit. The original box, manual, power adapter, and peripherals are not necessary. Please send only the main unit in a small package if possible.(Cash on delivery is available only within Japan)

寄贈が受けられる場合は以下まで着払いで機器をお送りください。送る場合は本体のみで結構です。元箱やマニュアル、電源アダプター、周辺機器は必要ありません。なるべく本体だけを小さく梱包して送ってください。

What are your memories of the donated items?

The Museum of Extinct Media would like to create a catalog of our collection. As 80% of our collection is donated, we would like to publish not only the specifications and historical significance of the items in our collection, but also the memories of donors regarding their donations. If you are planning to donate, or have donated in the past, we would appreciate it if you would fill in your memories of the donated items in the form below.

「絶滅メディア博物館」では収蔵品のカタログを作成したいと考えています。寄贈が8割の当館では収蔵品の仕様や歴史的な意義だけではなく寄贈者の寄贈品に対する思い出についても掲載したいと考えています。これから寄贈する方、またこれまでに寄贈した方もよろしければ以下のフォームから寄贈品の思い出を入力いただければ幸いです。

寄贈へのお礼

Those who donate by mail will receive an invitation (for two people, no expiration date, transferable) by mail.

Those who donate in person will receive a donor card that will allow them to receive special benefits when they enter the museum.

「郵送寄贈者の方」にはご招待券（2名様・有効期限なし・譲渡可能）を郵送いたします。

「持込み寄贈者の方」には博物館の入館時に特典が受けられる「ドナーカード」をお渡しします。
